Festival “Mirëdita, dobar dan!” in Prishtina from May 4th

The tenth jubilee edition of the “Mirëdita, dobar dan!” festival, a unique cultural event that has been organized in Belgrade and Prishtina since 2014, will be held from May 4th to 6th in Prishtina, with the presentation of the modern artistic, cultural, and social scene of Serbia and with raising critical issues concerning both the past and the future in times that represent a great challenge for Kosovo and Serbian society. Citizens of Prishtina will have the opportunity to get to know the Serbian cultural scene, musicians, film, and literary authors.

The glorification of those accused for war crimes is unacceptable always and under any circumstance

The Youth Initiative for Human Rights sees it as a failure of the “Miredita dobar dan” festival that some of its previous participants have partook recently in a campaign aimed at glorifying those convicted of war crimes and exerting pressure on the work of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office in the Hague.

The “Mirëdita, dobar dan!” Festival closes today

The“Mirëdita, dobar dan!” festival, an event to be held in Belgrade for the sixth time presenting modern cultural and social scene of Kosovo, is to be closed today at 7PM with an award presentation to the authors of the film ’Albanian Women Are Our Sisters’ and to ’Samizdat B92’ for exceptional contribution to reconciliation and the culture of remembrance of the peace activists from Serbia and Kosovo.
